This is going to be a really geeky post. Anyway, I recently discovered TUGZip, which is an application that opens all sorts of compressed files from .ace to .zip (.rar, .7z, .tar, and .tgz files are among the ones you can find in between). I've done away with about three or four applications that I used to use for opening compressed files because TUGZip does everything.
The interface is clean and streamlined. I think they're using Foood's icons. It looks good. And it's free. The only downside is that it's for Windows. Oh well, can't have everything.
